While on board for your scenic flight, our experienced pilot will be able to answer any questions you have and give you a brief description of the area you are flying over.

A very unique way to do some wine tasting. You choose 3 wineries you would like to visit (from our selection) & you can fly to & taste wine at all of them. A surefire way to get you excited about Mudgee Wines. Customers may also choose to have lunch at one of the wineries whilst on tour. Is it safe?
At Commercial Helicopters our passenger's safety is paramount. All passengers are given a thorough safety briefing prior to flight including use of seatbelts, operation of the doors and general safety awareness around the helicopter. Can we take photos and videos?
Absolutley! Infact, we encourage you. What if I feel unwell during the flight?
We suggest that you use a precaution for travel sickness only if you are going on a long flight ie ½ hour or more. The other tours are shorter stints in the chopper and you should be OK. Can I have a window seat?
Commercial Helicopters can guarantee window seats for up to 3 passengers per flight. When do I need to be at the airport?
15 mins prior to your booked flight time is what we suggest. What happens if I cancel or fail to show after I have booked a flight?
If, for whatever reason, you cancel 3 hours before the booked in flight time, there will be no cancellation fee. Please consider the pilot and his preparation time needed to ready the helicopter (and meal, if included) before the flight. He will indeed be at the helicopter at least 2 hours prior to departure so you need to contact us well and truly before this. If the cancellation of a booking occurs within the three hours before flight time, Commercial Helicopters reserves the right to charge a 50% fee. What if the weather is bad on the day of by flight?
The flight can be rescheduled at a time that is convenient to you. Can you arrange transport to the airport?
Certainly. If you arrange this with us when making the booking we will be only too happy to pick you up. What should we wear?
Similar clothing to what you would wear on a car trip. In cooler weather a sweater is suggested. What about children?
The minimum age for children allowed on the helicopters is generally three years of age. However, upon request from parents, we may consider younger aged children. Children who occupy a seat of their own are charged as a fare paying passenger. Please note, however, prices quoted for scenic flights above.Can passengers talk to the pilot during the flight?
All passengers will have radio contact with the pilot so feel free to ask him any questions.

Can I talk to someone face to face about a joyflight?
Our pilots would be only too happy to meet with you and explain the who, what, where, why and whens of Commercial Helicopter's operation.
